Bungy Jumping in New Zealand - 10 Years Ago

We just transferred this bungy video from an old VHS tape. It's hard to believe that it was 10 years ago.  Although we hadn't originally planned on bungy jumping in New Zealand, we found that we couldn't leave Queenstown, the action-sports capital of the country, site of the very bridge where bungy jumping was invented, without giving it a try.

So on April 15, 2003, we went to AJ Hackett's Bungy at Kawarau Bridge first thing in the morning.
Are we ever glad that we did! It was amazing! We wrote all about it and posted pictures on our web site, but this is the first time we've had a digital copy of the video.

  1. Very impressed with the lack of screaming Steph. I would have been freaking out. Assuming I didn't pass out of course.

  2. Ha ha, thanks, Josh. Honestly the thought of screaming never crossed my mind. But boy were we pumped on adrenaline afterwards!
