ARW (Anderson Rabin Wakeman) at the Wang Theatre 10/19/2016

I started this post the day after we saw the show (October), but never got around to posting it before our Myanmar trip and the holidays. Better Late Than Never (to quote Anderson Ponty Band's album of the same name)...

Amazing show by Anderson Rabin Wakeman at the Wang. It felt like a Yes show. It was my first time seeing Trevor Rabin, and he rocked hard. We had a great view of everything from the front row of the mezzanine. It's always so much fun to watch Rick Wakeman and Jon Anderson. Rounding out the band were Lee Pomeroy on bass (haven't seen him since Return to the Centre of the Earth in Canada 2001, when we had drinks together after the show, and he complimented Craig's Sun Records T-shirt), and Louis Molino III on drums. It gave me a new appreciation for Owner of a Lonely Heart and even Rhythm of Love, since Rabin really killed it. Lift Me Up was great as well. Other standouts were Awaken and a duet of The Meeting with just Rick and Jon. Lee Pomeroy did a great tribute to Chris Squire on The Fish. And it was great that Kevin could join us (like the old days)!

Here's the set list, some photos, and a video excerpt of Owner of a Lonely Heart.
